Can I replace a plastic lid on a 250g Pommery® jar with a cork lid?

This natural cork reference is offered for the 250g format and provides a reusable closure inspired by traditional Pommery® packaging. It is particularly useful when the original lid is broken, lost or difficult to use.

What should I do if the lid on my 250g Pommery® jar is broken?

There is no need to replace the jar. The 250g natural cork lid is sold separately, allowing you to close the stoneware jar again and continue storing and serving the mustard from its original container.

Why is a cork lid traditionally paired with the Pommery® stoneware jar?

Stoneware naturally protects its contents from light and temperature variations. Combined with a cork closure, it follows the historic Pommery® packaging principle designed to help preserve the mustard while maintaining the House’s distinctive presentation.

Can this natural cork lid be reused after opening?

Yes. It can be removed and replaced each time the jar is used. Wax sealing applies to the traditionally waxed references; the cork itself remains the practical closure used afterwards to close the mustard jar.
